Nisha Parmeshwar, MD is an integrated plastic surgery resident in the UCSF Department of Surgery. She received both her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Medical Doctorate at the University of California San Diego as part of the UCSD BS/MD Medical Scholars Program. At her medical school graduation from UCSD, she received the Foundation Achievement Award in Surgery, awarded to the top medical student pursuing a surgical field.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she then returned to UCSF for Plastic Surgery residency. In her dedicated research year, she was awarded funding from the T32 in Surgical Oncology and worked on two novel prospective clinical trials in breast reconstruction.
