Anya Edwards (Greenberg) is a general surgery resident at UCSF. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA where she majored in Mathematics and Business/Economics. She started her career as a healthcare consultant at Deloitte Consulting before getting her MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and then transitioning to healthcare management roles at UCSF Health.

She subsequently completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at the University of Southern California and attended medical school at UCSF. She graduated with an MD with distinction after pursuing a year of research focused on surgical education, disparities in surgery, and surgical outcomes. She is interested in health services research and aspires to pursue a career as an academic surgeon.
