Biography
Anna is a second year general surgery intern at UCSF. After growing up in Washington D.C., she moved to Boston for undergrad at Boston College where she majored in Biology. During her time there and following college graduation, she worked as a research assistant in a pre-clinical cancer and immunology research lab where she went on to publish a manuscript and receive a Young Investigators Award. She then returned to Washington D.C. for medical school at Georgetown University before moving to the west coast to begin surgical residency at UCSF.
